Wallaceburg Irish Dancer Heading To Worlds, Fundraising For Costs

Wallaceburg’s Alana Paolone is heading to Belfast, Ireland to compete in the World Irish Dancing Championship this spring.
Representing the Cornell School of Irish Dance, Paolone is the only Chatham-Kent dancer competing on the world stage from April 6th to 13th.
Paolone finished third in the Eastern Region competition and sixth overall in the Canadian National contest.
The Paolone family is looking at ways to fundraise for Alana’s trip of a lifetime and welcome all potential opportunities.
If a local service club or business would like to help in any way, they can contact the Paolone family directly or 99.1 CKXS.
Alana and her family would like to thank Progressive Ford, Bill’s International Pizza, The Stubby Goat and Movie Time for their assistance.
