Wallaceburg is getting a Lion’s Club, and they’re looking for members. lions-club

Bob Tanner, past Council chair for the District of Ontario Lions Club says the idea came from a Wallaceburg resident:

“I’m a Petrolia Lion, and I was speaking to someone in Wallaceburg who was looking at our facilities and what we do as Lions here in Petrolia, and he expressed an interest in being a Lion,” Tanner says. “We heard some news recently that there were some challenges in Wallaceburg that fit some of our mandates, and it looked to me like there was a need.”

Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to join, regardless of gender or religious background.

The first meeting is taking place on Tuesday in the upper level of the Wallaceburg Museum, getting underway at 7:10.
