A Wallaceburg man has been arrested following an aggressive outburst.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, the man got into an argument with another tenant in the hallway of a Thomas Street building around 11:30 last night.
Authorities say the man began to verbally berate the victim, shouted obscenities, and then threatened to kill the woman.
The suspect fled once officers arrived, but was quickly chased down. However, police claim the man then began to push and punch the arresting officer.
The 32-year-old is charged with uttering threats to cause death, obstructing a peace officer, and assaulting a peace officer.
Police say the man was also wanted for failing to attend court to face similar charges in a previous incident.
The man was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
