With less than a month before the municipal election, area residents are getting a chance to learn more about candidates running in Wards 4 and 5.
The Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Meet the Candidates event this evening.
There are eight candidates running in North Kent vying for two seats on council.
The two Wallaceburg council spots are already filled with incumbents Aaron Hall and Carmen McGregor running uncontested, however both are expected to be in attendance.
Tonight’s event runs from 6 until 9 at the Moose Lodge on Duke Street.
Online voting opens on Monday, and Election Day is October 24th.
