It will be at least another month before road work in Wallaceburg is done. 
Expected to be finished by July 21st, the project has been pushed back with a new completion date of August 25th.
The problem lies with an abandoned sewer line and insufficient road base discovered during the excavation phase.
However, the contractor has assured municipal officials that all lanes will be reopened with an asphalt base and temporary line painting for WAMBO, from August 11th to the 13th.
Following that event, crews will get back to work on finishing the rest of the surface asphalt, line painting, and any other final details.
