A Wallaceburg shop keeper is recovering after an attack last night.
Chatham-Kent Police say a man walked into a novelty shop on Dufferin Avenue and got into an argument with the owner.
Things turned violent and police were called.
While the extent of the victim’s injuries haven’t been released, authorities say the man had to be air-lifted to hospital in London for treatment.
The suspect was captured on video surveillance, and was taken into custody a few hours later charged with assault and assault causing bodily harm.
