And a date has been set and tickets are now on sale for this year’s Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame banquet.
The event honouring some of the community’s best athletes and builders will be held April 1st at the UAW Hall on Elm Street.
This year’s guest speaker is retired CFL star Andy Fantuz, who spent six seasons and won a Grey Cup with the Saskatchewan Roughriders before finishing the last six years of his career with the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
Tickets for the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame banquet can be purchased at Kim Murray’s Desjardins Insurance for $70.
