Just days before Christmas, the wraps have been taken off the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2022.
However, exactly when the nominees will be honoured remains to be seen.
Kevin McGaffey has been named the Male Athlete inductee, while Anne Marie Fraleigh takes the women’s honours.
2022 Coach or official inductee is John Babbitt, Jackie Burnett is going in the Builder category, and this year’s team inductee is the 1984 intermediate Griffin lacrosse team.
The Hall of Fame banquet, originally slated for January 26th, has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date, based on COVID venue capacity restrictions.
