A Wallaceburg teen is facing charges after reports of a late night brawl.
Just before midnight on Wednesday, Chatham-Kent Police received a report of about seven people fighting and screaming on Wallace Street, with the possibility of a weapon being involved.
When officers arrived, no disturbance was found. However, police did come across a man whom authorities say was severely intoxicated, belligerent, and refusing to leave the area.
The 18-year-old was taken into custody for his own safety and held until he sobered up.
The accused has been issued a provincial offence notice, contrary to the Trespass to Property Act- Fail to Leave When Directed.
