Firefighters from 3 stations were quick to respond to a fire in a wheat field near Wallaceburg on Saturday night.
Firefighters say the fire was sparked by a pick up truck fire in the field just off Stuart Line.
The owner of the field told 99.1 they were chasing off trespassers on ATV’s that were in the field and near their equipment.
They feared their equipment was being vandalized otherwise he says they would not have been in the field.
The investigation continues.
