Baseball fans are invited out to cheer on some local players later this month.
On Tuesday, September 19, the Wallaceburg Wolves will be hitting the field at Kinsmen Park for the annual Community Living Baseball Challenge.
The Aaron VanDorsselaer Grand Slam end of season game will pit Wolves players against members of both Community Living Wallaceburg Board Members and employees.
The Wolves will pay tribute to their former coach, with members of VanDorsselaer’s family on hand for the game.
The public is invited to come cheer on the Wolves and their staff opponents. First pitch is at 4:30 that afternoon. The game will be followed by a free barbecue.
