A local woman is once again facing charges following an assault in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a complaint that a woman was violating her release conditions by attending a residence and contacting certain individuals on Thursday, just after 1 p.m.
Authorities said the woman was captured on a video surveillance camera approaching the residence and confronting an individual who was then assaulted.
As a result, a 43-year-old Wallaceburg woman is now charged with one count of assault and two counts of failing to comply. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
