Charges have been laid after two women were found slumped over in a car in Wallaceburg
Chatham-Kent Police say an officer on patrol spotted the vehicle on Wallace Street just before 10 o’clock Thursday morning.
After a well-being check, police discovered the driver was wanted by authorities in Sarnia. She was arrested and handed over to Sarnia Police.
Police say the passenger, a Wallaceburg woman, was found in possession of suspected Fentanyl, cash, scales, and an imitation handgun. She has since been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and will have to appear before a judge in court April 21st.
