One person was air-lifted to hospital following a crash on Walpole Island First Nation over the weekend.
Emergency crews responded to Chiefs Road shortly before 6 o’clock Saturday morning for a single-vehicle collision near Austin Road.
According to Ontario Provincial Police, a 37-year-old man was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with life-threatening injuries, before being air-lifted to hospital in London.
The road was closed for several hours as officers conducted an initial investigation and cleared the scene.
