Charges have been laid after a Walpole Island man was seen exposing himself in Sarnia.

Just before 10:30 Friday night, police were called to Exmouth Street about a man who approached two women in a vehicle, and asked a series of inappropriate questions, including propositioning them. The women told the man to leave them alone, at which point authorities say the suspect exposed his genitals and began jumping up and down.

Police were called and found the man nearby. Further investigation showed the accused was already out on a form of release and was subject to three separate probation orders, each containing the condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

The 31-year-old was arrested and charged with an incident act and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order. Following a bail hearing, the accused was remanded into custody.
