One of Canada’s largest transportation shows has returned to the streets and waterways of Wallaceburg.

The Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing (WAMBO) takes place Friday and Saturday with classic cars, fire trucks, and motorcycles lining up throughout the downtown core. Antique boats will also be featured as they arrive on the Sydenham River.

There will also be entertainment at various locations around town, including live music, karaoke, a soap box derby, fire truck parades, and the Dream Cruise of Classic Cars.

Refreshments and food will also be plentiful all around town, including a chicken dinner provided by the Knights of Columbus on Friday in the parking lot next to the Library.

The People Mover will be on the roads carrying attendees from the north side of the river to the south, since the walking bridge is closed. Drop off and pick up locations are in the RBC parking lot to the north and the museum on the southside.

Opening ceremonies kick off the festivities in Fountain Park at 5 o’clock Friday afternoon.
