A Tilbury man wanted in connection to a verbal assault over a year and a half ago has been arrested once again.

Chatham-Kent Police launched an investigation in late May, 2024 following a disturbance at a Tilbury home.

Investigators say a 56-year-old man got into an argument with two individuals on separate occasions, threatening both victims. A subsequent search turned up ammunition and suspected methamphetamine. He was charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death, drug possession, and knowledge of unauthorized possession of ammunition.

However, the suspect then failed to attend several court dates, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The accused was eventually found on St Clair Street in Tilbury earlier this week and arrested. He was taken to police headquarters and held for bail.
