The long arm of the law caught up with a Wallaceburg man over the weekend.
Officers on patrol on Wallace Street Sunday afternoon came across a man wanted on outstanding warrants related to an August 2023 fraud investigation and failing to attend court in connection an investigation into sexual assault dating back to October 2020.
Authorities say the accused was also wanted by the OPP.
The 52-year-old was taken to police headquarters and has been charged with sexual assault, unlawfully being in a dwelling, break and enter, and fraud.
He was released to the OPP with conditions and a date in court next month.
