Local residents will have a chance to hear from candidates running for one of two seats on council in the Wallaceburg area this week.
The Wallaceburg and District Museum is hosting a forum this Friday night at the Jeanne Gordon Hall for candidates in Ward 5.
Organizers say the evening will include a moderated question and answer period, focused on issues affecting Ward 5 and the broader Wallaceburg community.
The Jeanne Gordon Hall has a maximum capacity of 100 people, and registration is required. Walk-ins will be accepted if space allows.
As part of the registration process, attendees may submit questions they would like to see considered for the moderated portion of the evening. Submitted questions will be reviewed by event organizers and selected based on relevance, available time, and the overall format of the event.
Doors open at 6 o’clock Friday evening, with the forum getting underway at 6:30.
