The RBC BlueWater fund is donating $5,000 to the Chatham-Kent and Lambton Children’s Water festival.
The annual event sees about 1,800 Grade 4&5 students learn about water conservation, usage and environmental stewardship.
Water Festival Coordinator Don Hector says the cash will go a long way.
“It’s a three day outdoor festival, this will be our eighth year and to date we’ve had 10,000 students attend,” says Hector. “There’s always something for everybody, and we can always use more volunteers.”
The festival is held at the CM Wilson Conservation Area every October. Details can be found be clicking here.
