Highgate is going to benefit from a $4,000,000 PUC project to upgrade their water supply.
The project will see a 9km stretch of 200mm water main built from Ridgetown to Highgate along with a new booster pump and 320,000L water tank.
Construction is set to begin this month and be completed by the end of January.
The provincial and federal government are kicking in $2,600,000 of the total cost. The rest comes through the PUC lifecycle budget.
