The water tower in Blenheim is almost done.
PUC General Manager Tim Sunderland says the structure has been under construction for several months.
“The Blenheim water tower has been under construction for an external and internal rehabilitation,” Sunderland says, “which is sandblasting, re-coating, and painting.”
The tower will have the same look as Chatham and Tilbury’s water towers.
Officials will be refilling the tower with water this week.
The new look is scheduled to be unveiled at the beginning of next month.
