Water Wells First has taken aim at Councillor Jeff Wesley with its second shame award.
Spokesperson Kevin Jakubec says the Wallaceburg Councillor has lied to his constituents when it comes to protecting their water, and plans to present him with the award soon.
Jakubec says the award is a Pinocchio figurine “for misleading the public, which will be presented to him at our next Water Wells First General Meeting. We’ll look for his comments and reply to receiving this award from 
us.”
Jakubec says Wesley has said that any water testing needs to be done by an independent, third party. Though North Kent Wind has hired AECOM to sample the wells, he believes AECOM isn’t an independent tested because the majority of wind companies use them.
