About 150 cyclists are taking part in the 5-day trip, crossing 400 kilometres from Pelee Island to Grand Bend.

The group departed from Pelee Island on Sunday, spending last night in Wallaceburg.

The tour leaves this morning for Sarnia and Point Edward, and will make its way to the final destination at Pinery Provincial Park on Friday.

The newly expanded Waterfront Trail stretches over 1600 kilometres of shoreline in Ontario, connecting 84 communities.
