Chatham-Kent Police cruisers stationed outside WDSS on February 29th after a threatening note forced the closure of the school.

The investigation continues into a threatening note that forced the closure of Wallaceburg District Secondary School last month.

On February 28th, school officials found a note threatening an individual at the high school.

Police say the intended victim was alerted and the school was shut down the following day in the interest of safety.

Although authorities have said the threat was an isolated incident, incidents like this are taken very seriously and they’re still trying to track down the person who wrote the note.

Anyone who can help with the investigation is asked to call Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers at 519-251-8477 or online at www.crimes-stoppers.on.ca.
