A Wallaceburg man is facing weapons charges after an incident late last week.
On Friday, police received a call about a man caring a gun case which was believed to have a firearm inside.
Officers spotted the suspect running into an apartment complex.
The accused was located and authorities say a .22 caliber rifle was found inside the gun case.
The 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with careless use of and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
