Weapons charges have been laid following an incident in Chatham.
Police were called to the Orchard Heights area Monday evening following a complaint of an elderly man threatening someone with a firearm.
Officers seized a pellet gun and firearm from the man’s home.
The accused, a 78-year-old man, was arrested and charged with several firearm offences. He was released with conditions and a date in court next month.
