
Impaired driving charges have been laid after police stopped a weaving vehicle in Tilbury.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service received a traffic complaint on Tuesday at around 9:30 p.m., regarding a vehicle that was unable to remain in its lane.
Officers located and stopped the vehicle on Queens Line before arresting the driver, who was believed to be intoxicated. The driver was taken to police headquarters for further testing.
A 34-year-old Essex man is now charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was later released with a future court date.
