A week-long event aimed at empowering both job seekers and employers kicks off on Tuesday.
The CK Job Team is hosting its annual Workforce Week from February 24 to March 4, featuring in-person and virtual events throughout the week.
All of the events are designed to provide resources for residents looking to find jobs, summer student jobs, apprenticeships, or to start a new career.
The week will conclude with the Workforce Week Job Fair on March 4 at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham, with more than 80 employers expected to be on-site showcasing their businesses and employment opportunities.
The job fair will also include hands-on activities and simulators for youth aged 12 and older to explore skilled trades and emerging technologies, as well as a live demonstration stage, highlighting various trades, technologies, and innovative skills.
