We won’t have to worry about flooding anytime soon as temperatures fluctuate above the freezing point.

That’s according to Jason Wintermute from the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority.

After we received nearly 12 millimetres of rain on Boxing Day, most of the snow has melted, and not nearly as much rain is in the forecast over the next few days.

Wintermute says that with these warmer temperatures, any left over water won’t have a chance to freeze, and will be able to drain away.
