A months’ long construction project in Wheatley is entering a new phase.
Crews have been working on rehabilitating the Wheatley Road Bridge over Government Drain No.4 since the beginning of May, shutting down the intersection of Wheatley Road and Goodyear Line.
With that portion of the project complete, the focus shifts down the road to the bridge over the Burgess Drain.
Now through the end of July, crews will be rebuilding the bridge, with Wheatley Road shut down between Coatsworth Road and Rosedale Line.
Traffic will be rerouted on Middle Road, Highway 77 and Essex Road 8 for the duration.
