No injuries have been reported after a fire in Wheatley.
Crews responded to an Elm Street property to find smoke and flames coming from the building.
With the help of fire fighters from Tilbury, the blaze was quickly brought under control.
Damage to the home has been estimated at $350,000.
Fire officials have issued a reminder to all homeowners that smoke alarms save lives, and should be installed on every floor and outside all sleeping areas.
