Police are searching for a suspect following a robbery in Wheatley.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, the suspect went into the Circle K convenience on Talbot Road West just before 11 o’clock Sunday night, brandishing a knife and a crowbar.
The accused demanded cash from an employee and was last seen fleeing west on Talbot.
The man is described as white, about six feet tall with a stocky build, wearing a black ski mask, grey hoodie, blue jeans, and black gloves.
The Chatham-Kent Police K9 unit was called to search the area. Authorities now believe the accused got into a vehicle and fled the scene.
