Conservation officials are keeping close tabs on Lake Erie once again.
With wind gusts expected to reach 60 km an hour later this morning, there’s a risk of flooding along the shoreline once again.
Officials with the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority say with high winds continuing through Friday, prolonged wave action could lead to more shoreline erosion and damage to shoreline protections in vulnerable areas.
Residents in vulnerable areas along Erie Shore Drive and the Lake Erie shoreline should pay attention to local conditions and prepare accordingly.
