Police are looking for suspects following a break-and-enter at a business in downtown Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said an officer on general patrol on Monday at around 3:12 a.m. noticed that a window of a commercial business on King Street West had been smashed. The drawer from a cash register was also located nearby.
The owner later confirmed to police that no other damage was caused to the business and only the cash and the drawer had been taken.
The cost of the damage and the stolen cash is estimated at around $1,100.
