High winds are causing some flooding along the Lake Erie shore.
According to the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority the Erie Shore Drive area outside of Erieau could be closed this afternoon as southerly winds are driving water into the shoreline protection and up onto abutting properties.
Winds are expected to die down tonight before picking back up tomorrow afternoon.
