The Essex OPP have confirmed the pedestrian struck on the 401 Westbound near Tecumseh Friday evening has died.
A 28 year old Windsor woman lost her life in the crash.
No name has released yet.
The accident happened Friday night around 10 pm west of County Road 19.
The lanes were closed for about 6 hours while the OPP Technical Collision Unit collected evidence.
