The storm that has hit Chatham-Kent has made driving very hazardous.
Reports of tractor trailers going off the road on the 401 near Orford at Highgate and an accident on the 402 at Airport Rd. had things closed for much of the morning,
There was also a report of an accident near McKay’s Road just past Thamesville, that had OPP on scene.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 71 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Many of those calls were accidents on area roadways caused by the storm.
