A winter storm watch has been upgraded to a warning for Chatham-Kent.
Environment Canada said rain will begin overnight Tuesday into Wednesday before turning to snow by Wednesday morning. The snow is expected to be heavy at times and will continue until Thursday evening.
Up to 2 cm of snow per hour may be possible at times.
The weather agency said roads will likely become hazardous as visibility may be suddenly reduced at times due to heavy snow.
