The Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is kicking off 2017 on a positive note, announcing that the annual Christmas Wish tree Appeal has surpassed its goal. 
The drive brought in over $101,000 to upgrade the hospital’s aging diagnostic imaging equipment.
Tree lighting ceremonies were held in Wallaceburg and Chatham last month.
To date, more than $4.3 million has been raised for the D-I campaign with a goal of $6.9 million.
