It’s a festive tradition 35 years in the making – tonight, the first of two Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Christmas Wish Trees will be lit.
Lighting ceremonies are being held at the Wallaceburg site on Margaret Avenue tonight, and tomorrow in the riverside courtyard at the Chatham hospital, both getting underway at 6 o’clock.
The Wallaceburg celebration will also have a meet and greet with Santa, while the Chatham festivities include a vendor fair and photos with Santa.
Last year’s campaign brought in over $170,000 to support life-changing equipment, program innovation, and facility upgrades at CKHA.
Proceeds from this year’s campaign will support the hospital’s highest priority needs.
