A local organization is disappointed about a recent rumour about the Wallaceburg Lakers.
Officials with the Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association released a statement on their Facebook page yesterday saying that there’s an abundance of hockey talent in Wallaceburg, and that the possibility of the Wallaceburg Lakers moving to Tilbury is unfortunate.
While the Lakers haven’t made an official statement on the matter, the WMHA says they’ll continue to engage with the community and help players both on and off the ice.
