Sending text messages and making phone calls has resulted in additional charges for a Dresden woman.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said the 35-year-old Dresden woman was bound by a release order that prohibited her from communicating with an individual.
However, officers were contacted shortly before 11 a.m. on Tuesday after the woman allegedly texted and called the individual.
Later that day at around 4:30 p.m., the accused was located and arrested. She is now charged with failing to comply with a release order and has since been released with a November court date.
