A domestic disturbance has led to the arrest of a Chatham man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a disturbance at an address on Grand Avenue West in Chatham at around 11 p.m. on Thursday.
Authorities learned that an argument had broken out between a man and a woman, which escalated when the woman was grabbed by the arm and thrown to the ground.
The woman suffered a minor injury to her knee.
As a result, a 24-year-old Chatham man was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of assault. He will answer the charge in court next month.
