A single-vehicle collision in Dover Township has led to charges for a Chatham woman.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a vehicle left the road on Bear Line and crashed into a ditch at around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Officers responded to the scene and arrested the driver, believing she was impaired. The woman was taken to police headquarters for further breath tests.
As a result, a 54-year-old Chatham woman is now charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. She was later released with conditions and a future court date.
