A local woman has been arrested after a scuffle with police.
Officers were called to a Base Line home shortly before 6:30 Monday evening. Authorities claim the accused went to her ex-boyfriend’s home and refused to leave.
When police arrived, the woman allegedly kicked the arresting officer several times before being taken into custody.
The 26-year-old is charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
She was released with conditions and a date in court later this month.
