An arrest has been made after a woman was chased inside a Blenheim business by a man wielding a hunting knife.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to the business on Stanley Street at around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday following the initial incident.
The same man also reportedly left the business and entered a residence on Stanley Street without permission. He then threatened the homeowner when asked to leave.
Officers quickly arrived at the scene and were forced to use a Taser to take a suspect into custody.
As a result, a 37-year-old Ridgetown man has been charged with break-and-enter, uttering threats, and two counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
