
A Blenheim man is facing multiple charges following a domestic disturbance.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to an intimate partner dispute at a residence in Blenheim at around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
During the incident, the accused allegedly choked a 33-year-old woman, as well as a 24-year-old whose gender has not been released. The woman was also threatened and prevented from leaving the home.
As a result, a 33-year-old Blenheim man has been arrested and charged with two counts of assault, two counts of assault causing bodily harm, uttering death threats, and forcible confinement.
The suspect was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
