A Chatham woman has been charged after allegedly damaging her partner’s personal property.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said the victim had left his home when the accused allegedly attended the residence and damaged the victim’s personal belongings.
The man contacted police shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday, and officers learned that his partner had allegedly admitted to causing the damage.
The 31-year-old Chatham woman was later arrested on Princess Street in Windsor and transferred to police custody in Chatham. She is now charged with one count of mischief under $5,000 and was released with a future court date.
