A Chatham man is facing charges following a domestic incident that left a woman with a head injury.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a 911 call just before 10:30 p.m. on Friday after a woman was heard crying and a man was heard yelling at an address on Park Avenue West in Chatham.
Authorities arrived at the scene and learned that a man had threatened and assaulted his partner, causing an injury to her head.
As a result, a 54-year-old Chatham has been arrested and charged with uttering threats, assault, and assault with a weapon. He was later released from custody with an April court date.
